What exactly is Woodford Christian Schools’ Parent Teacher Organization (WCS PTO)? The WCS PTO combines the talents of the students, families and staff of Woodford Christian School to enrich our children’s educational experience. If you have a child enrolled in WCS, then you are already an important part of the PTO. You have already made the commitment to provide your child with a quality education based upon God’s word. The best way to stay informed of the events and activities at the school, meet the PTO board members and to find out what is happening at the school from the principal and staff is by attending the bi monthly PTO meetings.
In addition, volunteering your time and energy ensures the success of the many events sponsored by the PTO, including the silent auction, the fall carnival, the spring and fall bake sales, the Kroger card program, the Box Tops and Campbell’s Soup Labels for Education, Innisbrook sales, Abundant Funds sales, the book fair, the golf scramble, and providing the teachers with funds for school supplies and any needed items throughout the school year. We also take an active role in representing our school in the community through activities including the twilight festivals, parades, Christmas tree angels, book a thons and other community projects. The PTO also organizes many in-school activities including school pictures, field day, awards day, spirit day, family fellowships, and prayer groups. Your participation in these fundraising efforts provides the resources for these events and services.
We are excited about the upcoming school year and the things that can be achieved when we all work together and keep glorifying God as our focus. Our children are blessed with a wonderful school board, loving and talented teachers and a talented principal that provide a Christ centered school environment for our children to learn and grow in. Above all, we are blessed with an Awesome God who loves us.

Many decisions are made at these meetings and your attendance is highly encouraged. Free child care will be provided during the meetings. The PTO meetings are in the Fellowship Hall and the dates this year are:
